Love Letters

A Benefit Performance of A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play

October 20, 2012

A benefit performance at the Palm Springs Woman's Club on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50 and include a dessert reception.

The production stars Donna Pescow of "Saturday Night Fever" fame and Robert Hays of "Airplane!" The actors' next big success was their two-year stint as the fairytale couple Angie Falco and Brad Benson on the popular television sitcom, "Angie," which garnered Pescow a Golden Globe nomination for "Best Actress in a Comedy Series." The upcoming benefit performance reunites the two, as well as "Angie" writer and story editor Lenny Ripps, who will direct "Love Letters."

"Love Letters" is the intimate correspondence between Melissa and Andrew, star-crossed lovers who have saved 50 years of letters they've written to each other. Their notes and letters become a source of inspiration, comfort, love, and at times, heartache, in this bittersweet romantic comedy.
