The membership organization 150 Circle of Giving has announced the nonprofits that will be the recipients of its first local grant awards. This year, the organization has decided to make monetary donations to six Coachella Valley nonprofits that help provide food security and other services needed throughout the community. In addition to Dezart Performs grant of $1,000, the other winners were FIND Food Bank (with a grant of $20,000), Loving All Animals ($20,000), Desert AIDS Project ($1,000), The Ophelia Project ($1,000) and House of Hope ($1,000).
