Dezart Performs held its annual end-of-season appreciation party online today to an audience of over 125 viewers. Announced were the recipients of Dezart Performs scholarships to Palm Springs High School theater seniors Maiya Orosco, Frank Barrera and Cameron Days. Frank Cazares received the Creative Star Award for his thoughtful and character-driven design and costume for SWEAT. Suzanne Gomez received the Star Volunteer Award. And the 2020 Angel Award was awarded to Elber and Ludim Camacho for their loyalty and support. Congratulations to all! Included in the presentation were videos showing behind-the-scenes clips of the past season and a recap of the three productions of HAND TO GOD, DANIEL’S HUSBAND AND SWEAT.
