After a strategic planning process and search for a much needed new home, the Board of Directors identified a 4,400 sq.ft. space for lease in Canyon Plaza South in Cathedral City. In May of 2022, Dezart Performs launched the quiet phase of a 5-year comprehensive campaign, projecting that $2,200,000 will be needed to convert the former retail space into a state-of-the-art Equity theater and another $200,000 per year over five years that will help to sustain our program and operations costs. This new home will be called Dezart Playhouse.
