Naughty & Nice
A Special Presentation by Mama’s Boy Cabaret
A Holiday Cabaret that’s Merry, Musical, and a Little Mischievous!
The creative team behind Mama’s Boy Cabaret at the Palm Springs Plaza Theatre is back together and heading to the new Dezart Playhouse—this time with a little more tinsel, a lot more holiday spirit, and perhaps just a touch of mischief!
Join Gregg Glaviano, Richard Elander, Jim Gnaster, and Paul Cady for Naughty & Nice, a festive holiday cabaret filled with laughter, stories, beautiful harmonies, and plenty of seasonal surprises. Together, the guys bring their warmth, humor, and musical camaraderie to a joyful mix of holiday songs—some beloved classics you know by heart, some unexpected favorites, and a few tunes that may put a slightly different spin on the most wonderful time of the year.
Through music and storytelling, Naughty & Nice celebrates all the things that make the holidays memorable. It’s an evening that embraces both the sentimental and the silly sides of the season, with plenty of laughs along the way.
So whether you’ve spent the year earning a coveted spot on Santa’s “nice” list or have a few “naughty” moments you’d rather keep between you and the elves, come raise a little holiday cheer with us. Expect great songs, gorgeous harmonies, a few confessions, plenty of merriment, and four friends having a wonderful time celebrating the season together.
Two nights only — December 16 & 17 at 7:00 PM.

The Cast
Gregg Glaviano (Writer, producer, designer & actor)
Gregg’s musical journey has been a multi-faceted mash-up starting as the lead singer in a New Orleans high school garage band, while secretly longing to sing showtunes and jazz. He moved to DC and sang with the Washington Opera, appeared in 5 acclaimed productions at Signature Theater in Arlington, VA. As well, he co-created Guys Who Love God— a high-energy 4-man gospel group. After moving to Palm Springs in 2022 he co-founded BackBeats—a musical duo focusing on “classic beats” from Rat Pack to Pop and performed regularly throughout the Coachella Valley. Gregg wrote, produced and starred in, Mama’s Boy—a cabaret telling his personal journey through stories and song seen performed at the Palm Springs Plaza Theatre. He’s excited to ring in the holidays at the new Dezart Playhouse in Naughty & Nice—a merry and mischievous holiday review. Gregg is forever grateful to the friends he shares the sage with, and for his husband who sacrifices much to help make his dreams come true.
Paul Cady (Music/stage director & actor)
Ever since his first musical Lil Abner where he played the title role, Paul has been hooked on the theatre world. Some of his favorite roles include South Pacific (Lt Cable), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Rocky), Pirates of Penzance (Samuel), A Chorus Line (Al), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Johnny Brown), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Simeon/Baker) and The Spirit of Pocahontas (Captain John Smith) for Disneyland. His love for performing expanded to musical directing. First for The Pickering Street Players, a children’s theatre in Los Angeles then on to numerous musicals like That Loving Feeling (story of the Righteous Brothers), Avenue Q and many fundraisers and cabarets where he is currently having a blast working with the men of Mamas’ Boys!
Richard Elander (Co-creator & actor)
Richard began performing with his mother and sister as the Elander Family Singers. His father was an accomplished accordion player and pianist who accompanied the group. Besides entertaining and performing, they won many competitions, including 2nd place in Grange National Family Vocal Competition. In the early eighties they performed for many showcases in Las Vegas including Maxims, Sahara, Caesars Palace, and more. After leaving Las Vegas they located to the Palm Springs area and performed for Country Clubs throughout the valley. Fast forward, he’s now retired and living the dream in this beautiful desert with his husband of 33 years. He sings with the Coachella Valley Mens Chorus, “Modern Men,” and is thrilled to be singing with the amazingly talented men of Mamas’ Boys.
Jim Gnaster (Co-creator & actor)
Jim began his singing career in Chicago, IL. He sang with The New Tradition Chorus, the International Barbershop Society Gold Medal Chorus Champion. His vocal experience includes singing with Fourtune, an a cappella mixed quartet, which included performances at the White House for President and Mrs Clinton. Upon moving to Palm Springs, Jim has sung with A Cabbello and is thrilled to be a member of the Modern Men Chorus. Most recently, Jim performed with Gregg Glaviano and other Modern Men members in the 2025 debut of Mama’s Boy, and Naughty & Nice at the Revolution Stage Company.
