A thriving theater is defined by the strong bond between the creative team comprising artists, designers, and actors, and our audience. We are proud of the high attendance levels we received this past season and are grateful for the steadfast support of our patrons and donors. It is you, our esteemed supporters, who play a critical role in our ability to continue presenting fearless, thought-provoking and inspiring theater productions. Due to the unprecedented rise in labor costs and inflation, we are facing considerable challenges in meeting our production costs. However, with your help, we can continue delivering exceptional theater productions that resonate with you, our community, and the deepest essence of our humanity. Your generous donations will enable us to bring another year of outstanding productions that connect us all and keep our artistic vision alive.
THE NEXT STAGE CAMPAIGN
We will begin our 2025/26 Season in the new Dezart Playhouse, our first permanent home. Formerly the First Church of Christ, Scientist, the Modernist gem was designed by Robson Chambers and Albert Frey and opened in 1957 as a church. Our architect is Susan Secoy-Jensen, highly regarded for her experience in working with historic spaces. She will transform the church into a state-of-the-art professional theatre, while maintaining its many Mid-Century Modern design elements.
