“With small performing arts organizations like Dezart Performs,
it’s important to ensure that, as designers, we don’t limit creativity in the theater.
Flexibility is what we have build into the platform.”
–Michael Ferguson, Founding Principal, Theatre DNA
It’s long been a goal to have a theater space that can be modified and flexible enough to suit not only our needs, but opportunities for programming by other performing arts organizations, such as music, comedy, dance and children’s theatre. Some may need more seats; others less, or perhaps no seats at all. Also, having adjustable space (including the lobby and patio areas) will allow us to accommodate other types of non-performance events.
- Versatile seating from none to 125 in various configurations
- Larger, adaptable stage
- Opportunities for extending performances
